Guide: Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth; Sing praises to the glory of God’s name! Give to God glorious praise! Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds!”
~ Chante yon chante pou Bondye, tout moun sou latè! Chante pou glwa non Bondye! Di Bondye: “Ala bèl bagay ou fè yo remakab!”
All: Come and see what God has done: God turned the sea into dry land; they passed through the river on foot. There we rejoiced in God whose eyes keep watch on the nations.
Guide: Bless our God, O peoples; let the sound of God’s praise be heard, who has kept us among the living and has not let our feet slip.
~ Benediksyon pou Bondye nou an, nou menm pèp yo!
All: For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried. You brought us into the net; we went through fire and water; yet you have brought us out to a spacious place.
~ Paske ou menm, Bondye, ou teste nou, ou teste nou menm jan yo teste ajan. Ou fè nou tonbe nan pèlen. Nou pase nan dife ak nan dlo. Men, ou mennen nou nan yon kote ki laj.

Responsive Reading: (adapted from Psalm 91)
Guide: You who live in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, “My refuge; my God, in whom I trust.”
All: God will cover you with the Lord’s pinions, and under God’s wings you will find refuge; God’s faithfulness is a shield and defense.
~ Bondye ap pwoteje w ak zèl Senyè a, epi anba zèl Bondye w ap jwenn refij; fidelite Bondye a se yon boukliye ak yon defans.
Guide: You will not fear the terror of the night or the arrow that flies by day or the pestilence that stalks in darkness or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
~ Ou p'ap pè laterè lannwit lan, ni flèch ki vole lajounen, ni epidemi ki mache nan fènwa a, ni destriksyon ki ravaje midi a.

The Lord’s Prayer (from the New Zealand Prayer Book)

Eternal Sprit
Earth-Maker, Pain-bearer, Life-giver,
Source of all that is and that shall be,
Father and Mother of us all.
Loving God, in whom is heaven.
The hallowing of your name echoes through the universe!
The way of your justice be followed by the peoples of the earth.
Your heavenly will be done by all created beings.
Your commonwealth of peace and freedom
sustain our hope and come to earth.
With the bread we need for today, feed us.
In the hurts we absorb from one another, forgive us.
In times of temptation and trial, spare us.
From the grip of all that is evil, free us.
For you reign in the glory of the power that is love,
now and forever. Amen.

Child Dedication:
Congregational Commitment:
We rejoice with you and give thanks for the gift of your child. With God as our guide, we will share in your child’s nurture and well-being. We will support, by our example and words, your efforts to provide a loving and caring home where trust in God grows and Christ may be known. Our prayers are with you and for you. Guide: Wonderful are your works; that we know very well. Our frame was not hidden from you, when we were being made in secret. Intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Kò nou pa t kache devan ou, lè yo t ap kreye nou an sekrè. Li te byen trikote nan fon tè a.

~ Bèje pèp Bondye a, koute! Ou menm k'ap mennen Jozèf tankou yon twoupo. Ou menm ki chita sou cheriben yo, klere byen bèl. Reveye tout fòs ou, vin sove nou.
Many: You brought a vine out of Egypt and planted it. You cleared the ground for it; it took deep root and filled the land. Mountains were covered with its shade, it sent out its branches to the sea.
~ Ou te fè yon pye rezen soti nan peyi Lejip, ou te plante l. Ou te netwaye tè a pou li. Li te pran rasin byen fon, li te ranpli peyi a. Lonbray li te kouvri tout mòn yo, branch li yo te gaye jouk nan lanmè.
Guide: Why then have you broken down its walls? All who pass along the way ravage it. Turn again, O God of hosts; look down from heaven and see; have regard for this vine that your hand planted.
